As one who has helped many troubled couples over many years, I can tell you this; marriage counseling cannot perform miracles and make a troubled marriage perfect. Both must enter counseling with an open mind and heart and both must want the same result, to save your marriage or it will never work. Both must be willing to do whatever it takes to save it, or it will become a disaster. True some marriages are doomed at the start, but every marriage is worth trying to save. You must find one common bond and grow from it. Nothing is guaranteed in life so sometimes people must fight for what they believe in and want, especially in todays age when divorces are the easy answer and easier to get.
